Harry took one glance back at the entrance of the Great Hall. People were moving around, trying to comfort each other, drinking, kneeling beside the dead, but he could not see any of the people he loved, no hint of Hermione, Ron, Ginny or any of the other Weasleys, no Luna. He felt he would have given all the time remaining to him for just one last look at them; but then, would he ever have had the strength to stop looking? It was better like this.
“Hmm. Difficult. Very difficult. Plenty of courage, I see. Not a bad mind either. There’s talent, oh my goodness, yes — and a nice thirst to prove yourself, now that’s interesting…”
but uGH book!harry was so passionate and charismatic and witty and sarcastic and a natural leader and he didn’t fucking need ginny to yell at a group to stfu to get them to listen to him because if harry wanted you to listen he would MAKE YOU FUCKING LISTEN because when he was angry he was intimidating as fuck and he had this intensity about him like he was usually pretty chill and laid back and up for a laugh but you knew if you really pissed him off he might kill you because he had so much inner rage because of his shitty life and sometimes he would explode and he also had an ego like he was humble but also arrogant at times and he could be such a douche but also super nice and like he’ll save your life but he won’t bother being your friend because who the fuck are you to him really and jesus fucking christ HE WAS SO INTERESTING and movie!harry is like blandass oatmeal with no flavor like he was just such a flat character with no charisma NEVER FORGET WHAT THEY DID TO HARRY.
There is no shame in what you are feeling, Harry. On the contrary… the fact that you can feel pain like this is your greatest strength.

sorry for acknowledging harry potter on main but one thing about the books that haunts me to this day is what happened to harry’s dragon miniature that he got in the triwizard tournament. the last time it’s mentioned he puts it down on his bedside and it curls up to sleep and then we never hear about it again. what happened to the dragon. nobody let jkr see this because i don’t want her to pull something out of her rancid ass but i need to know what happened to that dragon.
it does bother me though that when pansy made an openly racist comment, literally no one, not even harry, defended angelina. all those times of harry’s blood boiling because draco made a rude comment about ron’s family or everyone getting angry (as they should) as “mudblood” was being thrown around, but no one said anything about this racist comment

okay but imagine harry making a group chat for his friends from hogwarts just because and draco is there too but he literally never talks because he’s all like “that’s a muggle thing phew” but really he didn’t know how to use that
AND the first time that draco actually talks in the group chat is to send a video of harry who stubbed his toe on a table and is lying on the floor curled up into a ball screaming “I DIDN’T KILL VOLDEMORT FOR THIS”
and then the camera switches to draco’s bored face and with the most monotone voice ever he says “the boy who lived twice” and he’s holding a clock that shows 4:27am
