i wish we’d gotten to see hermione infiltrating the ravenclaw common room at least once?? we all know she’d do it i just want details… she strikes me as the ‘riddles are too juvenile i want a REAL challenge’ type so how elaborate is the scheme? would she be willing to use luna and/or cho to her advantage? would she be disappointed to finally get in & see that half of the ravenclaws are strewn across the floor playing with a life-sized magical model of outer space instead of actually working? does she get caught

sirius black seems so high maintenance. i refuse to believe he wouldn’t use being a dog to his advantage which means if he ever doesn’t feel like doing things he can just stay a dog and then the other three (i.e. remus) have to take care of him because who can say no to a dog. remus obviously can’t ‘take advantage’ of his lycanthropy like that, although i’m sure they took care of him after full moons as well, james as a stag is presumably graceful but probably clumsy and also not as cute, and a rat could be mistaken for one of the class experiments so really… sirius has too much power

i aspire to have as much patience as remus lupin keeping his cool while legitimate former death eater severus snape accuses him of being ~in league~ with sirius, tries to give both remus and sirius to the dementors & then exposes remus to the school the world out of spite

harry potter joking about liking a quiet life is funny but also imagine how stressful being a gryffindor in his year would be… you go to sleep each night not knowing if you’re gonna wake up and this kid’ll be lights out or off risking his skinny neck to save the world again… you put your spoon in a bowl of cereal and look at him across the breakfast table, he’s got his head down - plotting, ron looks excited, hermione looks tired, the house cup’s laughing in your face, spitting on your grandmother… harry walks through the corridor and sneezes, malfoy starts talking shit, ‘potter have you considered taking remedial sneezing lessons’, harry’s eyes flash and he opens his mouth, snape’s three staircases away and across the school but he caught the scent, he’s running… harry is literally sitting in the great hall with everyone else doing nothing, praying for peace and happiness, he breaks the rules by existing, he’s a triwizard champion, voldemort’s back, cedric’s dead, ron’s pet rat is a criminal, harry nearly dies trying to save everyone again and your anxiety is through the fucking roof
